A masterclass from space – CANNESERIES Unlimited
On April 3rd, the 6 talents of CANNESERIES Unlimited attended a masterclass with Éric Laroche, sponsor of the residency and producer of EMPREINTES DIGITALES and of the new series INFINITI whose first two episodes had been premiered the day before, during the CANNESERIES Festival.
During this masterclass, Éric Laroche discussed the origin of the INFINITI project as well as the different challenges he and his team had to face: the writing process confronted with the technical requirements and the genre of the story, the development process of a French-Belgian co-production, and the confrontation of an ambitious scenario with the reality of the budgets and the means at their disposal.
Being in the final lap before the presentation of their final pitches, our residents were then able to exchange with the producer and ask questions about the different aspects of the realization of a project, from the text to the set.
