Miriam YACOUBI
Award winner
Miriam Yacoubi is a Fulbright Grantee, writer-director and music composer based in both France and the United States. . While at Sciences Po, she had her first industry experience at the Seattle International Film Festival, then in Paris at Studiocanal and at Pathé where she worked in script development. In 2019, she started the Graduate Filmmaking Program at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts in New York. She’s currently working on her upcoming projects as a writer-director, both in TV and film.
Margot COURSAGET
Graduated from La Sorbonne and from the CEEA in Paris, Margot Coursaget has several TV series in development. She likes strong feminine characters, genre films and disturbing stories. Working for production companies and for Canal +, Margot also works as a reader and a writing coordinator.
Denis LIMA
After a university degree in Paris VIII (Saint-Denis), Denis started as a scriptwriter in 2008 on “RIS Police Scientifique” (TF1 Productions) in one of the very first writing pools in France and signed his first episode. He writes for animated series (“Les Dalton”, “Lapins Crétins”, “Titeuf”, etc.). Before becoming, in 2017, the Story Director for the police comedy series Grosha & Mr B (la Station Animation) for CANAL +.Author, Staff Writer and Story Editor, Denis is now multiplying projects of fiction series and (co)writing for television.
Bruna PIAS
Bruna is a Portuguese Writer/Director based in London. She has a Master’s Degree in Film Directing from MET Film School London and has directed a number of successful and award winning short films. She currently works as a development assistant at a production company.
Edward CHISCHOLM
Since graduating from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London, in 2010 Edward has worked continually in the film, television and advertising industries in London, Paris, and now Switzerland. His first novel, “A Waiter in Paris“, will be published worldwide in the spring of 2022. Edward’s work has also appeared in The New York Times, the Guardian and Financial Times magazine. Edward is currently developing film and TV ideas for the European market.
Tamara VOGL
Born in Australia, Tamara is an Egyptian-Austrian writer based in London. An MA Screenwriting graduate of the London Film School (LFS), during her time at LFS she was awarded a Leverhulme Arts Scholarship. More recently, a feature she co-wrote won Filmmarket Hub’s UK Pitchbox competition, where she had the opportunity to meet and pitch to executives from major UK production companies including Universal Pictures, Lionsgate and SKY Originals. Currently, she is on a nine-month writing residency with Soho Theatre.
Alejandro CORTES
A Spanish Cinema Academy Member, Alejandro created two series, and he has written, directed and produced two feature films: REFUGIOS (2015, Spain/Argentina) and CARRASCA (2018, Spain), both of which have won awards at international film festivals. He has also worked as a research director on the film, HÉROES: SILENCIO & ROCK ‘N’ ROLL, (2021 NETFLIX), as an executive producer and director of LA NUEVA NORMALIDAD and on an episode of RESET, an ensemble movie (2020, Aragón TV / FILMIN). Alejandro graduated from the Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires, Argentina with a degree in filmmaking, and he participated postgraduate workshops with specializations in TV Shows and Digital Series, Documentary, Adapted Screenplay and Animation at several universities in Europe and Latin America.
