Jakub Jirásek is a writer, director and musician. Born in Prague in 1993, he grew up in Switzerland and now lives between Berlin and Prague. He obtained a master’s degree in film directing at FAMU in Prague and spent an Erasmus semester at the Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3. His latest short film, Don’t Be a Pussy, premiered at Premiers Plans in Angers, won several festival awards and was shortlisted for the BAFTA Student Award in 2020. His latest short documentary, White Room, has just premiered at the Raindance Festival 2021 in London. He is currently completing his next short film, Love, 9 to 5. He has directed several clips and commercials for clients such as Czech National Broadcast, Pilsner Urquell, Erste Bank and Amnesty International.

Mathilde Arnaud started to learn how to tell stories by making short films, like the award-winning “No Face” (2010). After graduating from CEEA (European Scriptwriting School in Paris) in 2019, she became scriptwriter and is currently working on various series’ and movies’ projects. She has a passion for inspiring female characters and loves to revisit History through period drama.

Natalie Cutler is a Screenwriting graduate from the prestigious – National Film and Television School. Her debut One Woman Show – Not Yet Suffragette received a 5* review from Broadway Baby and was nominated for ‘Best Show’ at the Brighton Fringe, before being named one of Theatres top 10 shows of 2017. She was selected to take part in the Birmingham REP’s Writers Foundry for talented, new, regional Writers. Her film Married To The Game was nominated for ‘Best Documentary’ at the Royal Television Society Awards with a nomination for herself under ‘Outstanding New Talent’ and she is currently playing the lead role of Gale in Kiyo Films’s new TV Comedy series – Groundbreaking.

A partner/writer at the entertainment studio iNK Stories, Andrés co-created and produced “Hero,” the Lumiere Award and Tribeca Festival Award-winning multi-sensory VR experience. He wrote and co-created “Fire Escape,” an interactive neo-Hitchcock episodic series, and produced the BAFTA nominated video game “1979 Revolution.” His short film “Galeana No. 8” received several awards, including a Palm Award from Mexico International Film Festival and a World Cinema Award from the Amsterdam Film Festival. Andrés’s feature screenplay was selected as part of the 2022 GLAAD List of best unproduced inclusive scripts, and he currently serves as co-chair for the WGA East LGBTQ+ Salon.  

Stephanie Falkeis is a multilingual director and screenwriter from Austria, working internationally. Her films often deal with questions of otherness and belonging, memory, and our relationship to the natural world. Stephanie is currently completing her MFA in Directing/Screenwriting at Columbia University on a Fulbright Scholarship, and studying on exchange at La Fémis. She is a BAFTA Newcomer Talent, Sloan Foundation Grantee, Telluride Film Festival Symposium and CWC Cannes Series Writers Club alumna. After several award winning shorts, her historical miniseries ‘The Invisible Sister’ received Austria’s inaugural ‘Heroines in Series’ screenplay award. Stephanie is currently developing her debut feature film.

I grew up in the South of France, surrounded by the books I loved and the games I played with my siblings. I did not change much, since I followed Literature and Cinema studies while keeping up with my other passions, drawing and hiking. Outdoor activities, especially isolating myself in nature, have always been a great source of inspiration for my stories and drawings. For now, I am developing my stories as well as I can : I feel very lucky to come up with new ideas all the time.
