Award winner 2019 - Audience award winner CANNESERIES 2021 with the series, AWAKE.

Matija Dragojevic is a Serbian filmmaker, based in Berlin. He’s the winner of CANNESERIES INSTITUTE writers’ residency 2019, and the winner of the 2021 CANNESERIES Festival Audience Award for his show” Awake”. In addition to creating films and series, Matija works as a consultant for Sundance Institute’s Lab programs and as a programmer for Oldenburg International Film Festival.

Vincent HAZARD

Vincent is a former sound designer who attended the Femis screenwriting « Atelier » in 2016. Since then, he has been a bonafide screenwriter. He writes regularly for Radio France, TV animation series, and he develops his own projects for TV and cinema. Vincent has also directed 5 award winning short films.

Storm Sigal BATTESTI

Storm Battesti is a writer, director and producer who holds French, Swiss, and American citizenship. He was selected to take part in Serial Eyes where he was trained as a TV showrunner under the guidance of well-known professionals. He entered the Talent Unlimited program in Cannes where he had the chance to deepen his understanding alongside extremely talented writers from across Europe. He has, since then, been staffed in the writers’ room of the upcoming thriller TV show “Off Season” which airs on both France Television and RTS in 2022.


Marta Sanseverino (Rome, Italy – 1997) graduated in TV and Cinema screenwriting at the Scuola Holden. Since she attended Canneseries Unlimited, she has worked as a Script Assistant for a TV series produced by Èliseo Entertainment. Furthermore, she won the Endemol Shine Scripted.


Greg Simmons is an Oscar winning screenwriter (if you count the plastic one he was gifted by his teachers on a school trip to LA). Since that early accolade, he’s graduated with Distinction from the London Film School, and won short film awards at Raindance Festival and the Lift-Off Global Network. He specializes in offbeat comedy; while at the Canneseries residency he wrote the pilot for ‘Mumfluff‘, a show about a bearded lady serial killer. In 2020 he was commissioned alongside fellow Canneseries graduate Storm Sigal-Battesti to develop a new horror series about the Beast of Gevaudan for M6.
