Lara BARBIER

Award winner

Lara Barbier is a British author whose young adult spy thriller project, Sparrowhawk won over the creative teams at Canal+. She has a Masters in Screenwriting from the London College of Communication. She is currently co-writing a TV drama for Bavaria Fiction.

Giulio RIZZO

Born in Genoa, Giulio moved to Rome to study screenwriting at the CSC – National Film School. Afterwards, he attended Serial Eyes in Berlin. Fluent in Italian, English and German, he’s been developing features and series for such companies as Cross Productions, Revok Film, Sergio Bonelli Editore, Fabula Pictures and Lailaps Pictures.

Benjamin PAYNTER

Ben Paynter studied prose with Professor Michele Roberts at the University of East Anglia and with Martin Amis at Manchester University, then screenwriting with various coaches at the London Film School. He is currently working on projects for TV and film.

Diogo FIGUEIRA

Graduated in Screenwriting at the Lisbon Film and Theatre School in 2013. He has cowriting the documentary The Labyrinth of Longing, winner of the Sophia Award for Best Documentary. He is also one of the writers behind the drama series Three Woman, nominated for the PRIX Europa for Best TV Fiction and the SPA Authors Award.

Emma TYBIRK LE MARC

Emma Le Marc is a French-Danish writer. She was an episode writer on the animated series Vitello, and a co-writer of the Vitello feature film. Her teen fantasy project Dame Blanche was selected by Studiocanal for the 2020 Canneseries Institute residency and is currently in development with a Studiocanal partner.
